Eva Öquist, Director of Administration at SKH, joins Mälardalen University

Eva Öquist started as Director of Administration at DOCH School of Dance and Circus in March 2010, was involved throughout the process of forming SKH and has been SKH's Director of Administration since the start in 2014.

–  It is a great privilege to be involved in starting a new university and contribute to the future of young people and the realization of dreams and knowledge development. For me, when we formed SKH in 2014, it was the second time I had the opportunity to be involved in starting a new university, which is unique in itself and for which I am both happy and grateful. I have been in the higher education sector since 1997, when I started building up the HR department at Södertörn University and continued there for 13 years in various assignments that involved being a driving force and participating in building the organisation and administrative support. Experiences that I have brought with me to SKH where, together with the Vice-Chancellor and our co-workers in both core and support activities, I have built and developed an organisation that we can all be proud of. SKH has put artistic research on the map both nationally and internationally," says Eva Öquist.

– It has been a privilege to have Eva as Director of Administration and a close colleague by my side for almost ten years. With her broad expertise in many areas and her experience in the Swedish higher education sector, she has been a great support to me as Vice-Chancellor.
