Meet film students at Tales Festival

Tales Festival is the name of our film master students' graduation festival.

It opened last Wednesday, 22 May in the Slakthus area, and over 300 people came - so much fun! Many were obviously curious to talk, listen, see and experience the storytellers of the future in Radio, Animation and The Art of Impact.

One of the invited guests was the Armenian-Russian artist and democracy activist Lusine Djanyan from Pussy Riot who was granted political asylum in Sweden in 2017. She talked about art and protest. The second guest was Barbara Visser, a visual conceptual artist, director and documentary filmmaker from the Netherlands. She had a programme item called ‘Dilemma dinner’ where she combined a dinner with friends with a discussion about identity, authenticity and the creative process in relation to A.I. Exciting! The festival also took place on Thursday. Check out the photos below.

For those of you who couldn't make it, or who couldn´t get enough, this is your chance to see the students' productions in their entirety: Welcome to the Tales Festival Examination on Monday 27 May.

The day starts at 12.30 with film screenings, radio documentaries and VR. Between 17-18.30 there will be a wine reception where you can meet our students and network with the film industry.

This will be an exciting day, so book Monday!
