Exchange studies in Teacher Education Programme in Dance

Welcome to apply for an exchange semester within Erasmus+ in Dance!

Courses offered

SKH offers you to follow courses from the curriculum of the Teacher Education Programme in Dance (year 3, semester 6). Find more information about the structure and content of the programme here

By following the links, you can read the syllabuses for the courses included in the spring semester of 2027:

•    Contemporary Choreographic Practices, 9 ECTS
•    Artistic Communication and Production, 15 ECTS
•    Dance 3b, 6 ECTS

Total of ECTS: 30
Study period:  18 January – 6 June 2027
Main language of instruction: Swedish and English
Study pace: Full time
Responsible unit: Dance Pedagogy

Application

The application period is 15 September to 15 October 2026.

  1. Ask your Erasmus+ coordinator at your home university to nominate you for exchange studies at SKH by sending an email to exchanges@uniarts.se.
  2. You submit your application via the online application system Varbi. Please note that we only accept applications via Varbi and that we will not consider any applications from students sent by e-mail or regular post.

Submit your application here

Upload the following documents for your application (in English, Swedish or other Scandinavian language):

  • Registration certificate from your home university
  • Transcript of records of your programme courses at your home university completed so far
  • Language certificate showing your level in English and Swedish (or other Scandinavian language)
  • Letter of motivation (maximum one A4 page): Describe why you are applying for exchange studies in Teacher Education Programme in dance at SKH and what your expectations are
  • Work sample (duration: 1.5 - 2 minutes): Film a dance material that you choose or create yourself and that you think is representative of you and that shows your dance technical ability, musicality and movement qualities in relation to the dance practice you choose to show yourself in.
