BEYOND STORYTELLING: Carl Olsson, 30% seminar
Carl Olsson’s artistic research project BEYOND STORYTELLING explores questions concerning film dramaturgy. It asks whether a narrative can be combined with a fragmentary cinematic structure without undermining the strength of fragmentation, given the cultural and historical dominance of narrative and the audience expectations that follow from it.
During this 30% seminar, Carl will present the project’s starting point, its research questions, and the findings of the investigations conducted so far. This will be followed by an in-depth discussion with respondent Cecilia Lidin and the audience.
