About the book
'The making of future storytellers' aims to provide an insight into how we think and work at the Nordic region’s largest film and media education programme. A total of 36 authors have contributed their writings.

The labour market and the industry are constantly changing, and the conditions for production, distribution and finance have been fundamentally shaken up over the last thirty years. This places new demands on the programme and on those of us who work within it. One way in which we are responding to these changes is by investing in artistic research and by seeking to understand the new forms of expression, techniques and tools that have emerged – not least through AI.

We envisage the book as a time capsule and, at the same time, as an encyclopaedic exploration of the subjects and ideas that together shape the environment in which the storytellers of the future are formed.

The editors are Nils Claesson, Lotta Erikson and Bodil Lagerås. Sepidar Hosseini is responsible for the graphic design.
The book has been produced in collaboration between SKH Film & Media and the SKH Library, and is available in both Swedish and English.
